Title of the projects :Studies on the cross transmission of pebrine spores from lepidopteran caterpillars to Muga silkworm (Antheraea assamensis Helfer) and its control measures.

Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. / M. Tech in Biotechnology / Agriculture / Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Botany / Zoology or allied subjects. Candidates having specialization / experience in Molecular Biology / Bioinformatics / Virology / Microbiology / Entomology etc. along with NET / GATE qualification will be preferred. For Senior Research Fellow minimum two years research experience is required.
Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- for JRF and Rs. 28,000/- for SRF per month for NET / GATE qualified candidates plus admissible HRA and for other as per guidelines of funding agency.
