JRF/Technical Assistant Computer Science Jobs recruitment in Central University of Jharkhand on temporary basis
Project entitled “Mapping and quantitative assessment of plant resources and its distribution in Madhya Pradesh, Central India”
Junior Research Fellow/02 nos.
Qualification: Minimum 55% in M.Sc. / M.Tech or equivalent in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics OR Minimum 55% in M.Sc. in Forestry/ Botany/ Plant Science/ Agriculture Science/ Ecology and related disciplines with at least PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS along with more than one year of work experience in the field of Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics. #Candidates with NET shall be preferred. NET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET is not conducted. Desirable: Candidates having experience in forestry, large data handling (satellite data, Census, NSSO, NFHS etc.), with working knowledge of hyperspectral/microwave remote sensing, R/ MATLAB software, GPS, DGPS etc., and forest field survey will be preferred.
Emoluments Per month: Rs. 25000 + HRA for 1st and 2 nd Year and thereafter Rs. 28000 + HRA for 3rd and 4th Year. Candidates with M. Sc. Degree and without NET if selected will be paid @ Rs.16000/- + HRA for initial two years and Rs. 18000 + HRA for the remaining period with the designation of Project fellow/ Senior Project fellow respectively.

Qualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ IT or equivalent Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having hands on experience in software(s) installation and Networking with CCNA certification, knowledge and experience of handling/ cataloguing/ achieving etc. of large datasets (soft copy & hardcopy).
Emoluments Per month: Rs. 12,000 pm
