Project Title :  Genome editing of Primordial Germ Cells (PGCs) using CRISPR/Cas9 system and production of Myostatin knock out chicken (No. BT/ PR 19605/ BIC/101/106/ 2016)

Qualification :  M.V.Sc. / M. Tech degree in Veterinary Virology/ Biochemistry/ Physiology / Biotechnology/ Animal sciences with specialization in Molecular Biology and animal cell culture. OR M.Sc. degree In Virology/ Microbiology, Biochemistry/ Physiology Biotechnology/ Animal sciences with NET qualification. Specialization in Molecular Biology and animal cell culture

Desirable work experience :  Experience of working in stem cell culture. Experience of working in the area of genomics/ functional genomics. Knowledge of computer applications

Emoluments :  As per OM No, SR/S9/Z-09/2012 Dated: 21.10. 2014 i.e. for first two years Rs 25000 +HRA (As per applicable norms); 3'd year Rs 28000+ BRA (As per applicable norms)

Age Limit :  Below 35 years on the date of interview (relaxable to SC/511 OBC and women as per rule).
