Qualification: M. Sc (Ag); OR M. Tech. in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering / Irrigation and Drainage Engineering / Water Resource Engineering / Land & Water Management Engineering / Water Resource Development & Management; OR Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course( Agriculture / Agril. Engineering) with NET qualification .

Pay Scale: Rs.25000

Field Assistant /1 Post

Qualification: Graduate in Science

Pay Scale: Rs.10,000

Age: JRF- 35 years for men & 40 years for women (Relaxable for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms) Field Assistant : The minimum age will be 21 years and maximum 45 years on the date of walk-in-interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per rule).

Place of posting:

The ICAR-Indian Institute of Water Management (formerly Directorate of Water Management) was established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research on 12 May 1988. The Institute aims to develop improved water management technologies for sustainable agricultural production and disseminate it amongst researchers, government functionaries, NGOs and farmers. The Centre is located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar on a 5.71 ha of land along with its main office-cum-laboratory building, guest house and residential complex. Research farm of the Institute (63.71 ha of farm land) is located at Deras, Mendhasal which is at 30 km away from main campus.
