Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Entries
-
Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP).

Assist in preparing and posting journal entries related to income, expenses, accruals, and adjustments.

Maintain ledgers, sub-ledgers, and general accounting records under supervision.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
-
Assist in processing vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.

Help monitor and record customer payments and issue receipts.
-
Reconcile supplier and customer statements, resolving any discrepancies.
3. Bank & Cash Reconciliation
-
Support the preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements.
-
Help in reconciling petty cash accounts and maintaining accurate cash books.

Monitor daily bank transactions and report any unusual or unauthorized activity.
4. Tax and Compliance Support
-
Assist in collecting and organizing data required for GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
-
Help ensure compliance with applicable taxation and financial regulations.

Prepare documentation required for tax audits and assessments.
5. Reporting and Documentation
-
Help prepare financial summaries, reports, and spreadsheets for internal review.

Organize and maintain proper filing of accounting documents, invoices, and receipts.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
6. Audit and Internal Control Support

Assist with data preparation for internal and external audits.

Respond to audit queries and support the documentation of findings.
-
Follow company policies related to financial controls and procedures.
