Job Description
We are looking for an Junior Accountant to perform daily accounting tasks. Junior Accountant responsibilities include managing Payables and reimbursements, entering financial transactions, creating invoices, and collection. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Duties:
- Billing & Invoicing
- Payables Management
- Bank Reconciliation
- Petty Cash Management
- Debit Note/Credit Note
- Import/Export Documentation
- Customer Correspondence
- Banking Correspondence
- Foreign Remittance & Interest Calculation
- Accounts Finalization
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping & Financial Record-Keeping
- Maintain and update financial records, invoices, and ledgers.
- Record daily transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Assist in handling accounts payable and receivable.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Analyze financial data to assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Generate reports for senior accountants and management.
3. Tax Compliance & Audit Support
- Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
- Help in gathering documents for internal and external audits.
- Stay updated on financial laws and tax policies.
4. Bank Reconciliation & Cash Flow Management
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and report financial risks.
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements when required.
5. Support in Accounting Operations
- Work closely with senior accountants and finance teams.
- Assist in developing financial policies and procedures.
- Use accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) for data entry and reporting.
