Job Description
Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and assisting in financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in bookkeeping and financial documentation.
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing and organizing financial records and documents.
- Preparing and filing invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Handling petty cash and preparing bills and receipts.
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- TDS GST and income tax
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Taxation & Compliance:
- Assist in filing GST, TDS, and other tax-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
Bank Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management.
Payroll & Expense Management:
- Assist in payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintain records of accounts payable and receivable.
