Job Description

Role Overview:

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the smooth execution of financial planning, accounting operations, tax compliance, statutory obligations, inventory management, and logistics activities. The role demands high attention to detail, timely reconciliation, and proactive coordination with internal teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Projections:

Prepare projected balance sheets (2-year outlook).
Maintain provisional balance sheets.
Conduct monthly reviews of the current fiscal year's balance sheet compared to projections.
Prepare cash flow projections with a 3-month look-ahead view.

2. Accounting Operations:

Reconcile and ensure timely filing of GST and TDS deposits.
Manage ledgers for creditors and debtors.
Compute and reconcile income tax filings.
Issue proforma invoices and tax invoices.
Enter expenses accurately on the Field Circle (FC) system.
Generate eWay bills for material in transit.
Manage insurance documentation for office assets, warehouse, and stock.
Draft salary structures in line with labor law compliance.
Handle ESI & EPF challan generation and payment processing.
Monitor finances related to company-owned fleet assets.

3. Statutory Compliance:

Reconcile stock statements and prepare book debt statements.
Submit Bill of Entry (BoE) data to the bank as required.

4. Inventory and Logistics Management:

Monitor inventory levels and perform stock reconciliation.
Coordinate with vendors for material movement and logistics.
Ensure proper documentation and audit compliance related to inventory.

5. Miscellaneous Financial Coordination:

Follow up on payments with clients and vendors.
Review current and upcoming orders with the Sales team.
Review project-wise currency fluctuations.
Track installation expenses up to the point of project handover.
