Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance. You’ll be responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Tasks
-
Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

Post entries to ledgers, journals, and trial balance.

Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation
-
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.

Compliance & Documentation
-
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.

Maintain organized documentation of invoices, bills, vouchers, and receipts.

Support the finance team during audits by providing required data and reports.

Support in Budgeting & Analysis

Assist senior accountants in preparing budgets and forecasts.

Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and report them to management.

Participate in cost control and expense monitoring activities.

Software & Tools
-
Work with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems.

Use MS Excel for preparing reports, financial analysis, and reconciliations.

Skills & Competencies Required

Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Good communication and organizational abilities.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work under supervision as well as independently.
