Position Description:
- BMC IT is looking for a Jr. application developer for the Digital Solutions team.
- The expectation from the role is to deliver web based applications & solutions for BMC’s internal & external customers. S/He should be hands-on on the development.
- The position requires a hands-on professional with a background in web applications.
- The candidate must be able to translate requirements into a technical design.
- The position expects demonstration of innovation.
- The individual will interact with BMC’s service managers, enterprise architects, global development teams and third-party technology providers.
- The position requires experience working with teams
- Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work as an Individual Contributor on complex Web based projects
- Should be able to interpret the business requirements
- Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts
- Ability to participate/handle testing
- Accountable to delivery of IT projects for Digital Solutions team
Qualifications:
- BS, BE or higher degree
- Experience of at least 1-2 years working in a global delivery model.
- Hands on experience with J2EE and related technologies, platforms and frameworks
- Exposure & hands on experience on Agile framework & DevOps tools
- Strong knowledge of Relational Databases and PL/SQL
- Strong understanding of Performance Tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-Solving abilities
- Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
