Position Description:

BMC IT is looking for a Jr. application developer for the Digital Solutions team.
The expectation from the role is to deliver web based applications & solutions for BMC’s internal & external customers. S/He should be hands-on on the development.
The position requires a hands-on professional with a background in web applications.
The candidate must be able to translate requirements into a technical design.
The position expects demonstration of innovation.
The individual will interact with BMC’s service managers, enterprise architects, global development teams and third-party technology providers.
The position requires experience working with teams
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Work as an Individual Contributor on complex Web based projects
Should be able to interpret the business requirements
Participate in technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts
Ability to participate/handle testing
Accountable to delivery of IT projects for Digital Solutions team

Qualifications:

BS, BE or higher degree
Experience of at least 1-2 years working in a global delivery model.
Hands on experience with J2EE and related technologies, platforms and frameworks
Exposure & hands on experience on Agile framework & DevOps tools
Strong knowledge of Relational Databases and PL/SQL
Strong understanding of Performance Tuning and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and problem-Solving abilities
Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
