Job Title: Junior Architect
Location: Shimla
Type of Hiring: 3 years contract
Job Overview:
As a Junior Architect, you will support the technical execution of urban infrastructure and tourism projects. This is a great opportunity to work alongside senior experts and contribute to meaningful public development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparing architectural designs and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D
· Support infrastructure layout planning, site development, and elevation drawing
· Collaborate with civil engineers and contractors to ensure compliance and feasibility
· Conduct site visits, surveys, and performance monitoring
· Prepare BOQs, specifications, and architectural reports
· Ensure compliance with building codes, safety norms, and environmental regulations
· Support presentations and client meetings with design visualizations
Qualification Criteria:
· Degree or Diploma in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institution
· 2–3 years of experience in urban infrastructure or tourism projects
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD
· Knowledge of BIM workflows, structural systems, and IS standards
· Strong communication and documentation skills
