Job Description
Role & responsibilities Required Junior Architect to work on Design, working drawings, corporation drawings & site execution.
Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of Bye-laws shall be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Drafting Support:
-
Assist in creating architectural designs, concepts, layouts, and 3D models.

Prepare detailed drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
-
Contribute to the development of presentation materials such as mood boards, renders, and diagrams.
-
Make revisions based on feedback from the senior architect or client.
2. Project Documentation:
-
Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings in compliance with local building codes.

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure proper integration of systems.

Maintain organized project files and track changes in design iterations.
3. Site Coordination and Analysis:
-
Conduct site surveys and site analysis for new or existing projects.

Visit project sites to monitor progress and ensure that the design intent is being followed.

Assist in documenting existing conditions and preparing as-built drawings.
4. Research and Compliance:
-
Conduct research on materials, design standards, local bylaws, and environmental practices.

Ensure designs meet local zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations.

Stay up-to-date with trends in architecture, design technology, and sustainable practices.
5. Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work closely with other architects, interior designers, engineers, and project managers.

Participate in design team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews.

Communicate effectively with team members and external consultants.
6. Client Interaction:

Support the senior architect in preparing client presentations and design proposals.

Join client meetings (in-person or virtual) to take notes, understand requirements, and communicate progress.

Incorporate client feedback into the design and coordinate accordingly with the team.
