Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Concept Development:
-
Assist in developing architectural concepts based on client requirements, site context, and project feasibility.

Create 2D and 3D drawings, design presentations, mood boards, and material boards.
-
Research architectural trends, sustainable design approaches, and case studies to support design decisions.
-
Contribute original design ideas under the guidance of senior architects.
2. Drafting and Technical Documentation:
-
Prepare detailed architectural drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.
-
Draft floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and working drawings as required.

Assist in producing construction documentation, tender documents, and permit sets.
-
Ensure that drawings meet local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
3. 3D Modeling and Visualization:
-
Create photorealistic 3D renders and walkthroughs using tools like SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or 3ds Max.
-
Assist in preparing visual presentations for clients, stakeholders, and project reviews.
-
Support marketing and communication efforts by developing visual content for portfolios, brochures, or social media.
4. Site Coordination and Supervision:
-
Visit project sites for measurements, surveys, and progress monitoring under supervision.

Support senior staff in checking construction progress against drawings and resolving on-site issues.

Record site data, prepare site visit reports, and document material usage or contractor feedback.
5. Project Coordination:
-
Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, interior designers, and contractors.

Assist in organizing project files, schedules, and client communication records.
-
Attend client meetings and presentations when required and take meeting notes or minutes.

Help in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material lists, and estimation reports.
6. Research and Documentation:

Conduct material research and source samples for design proposals.
-
Stay updated on sustainable practices, smart building solutions, and new construction technologies.
-
Contribute to architectural documentation, libraries, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the firm.
