Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Development and Drafting:

Assist in developing architectural concepts and translating them into detailed designs and construction documents.

Prepare technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.

Create 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials using tools like SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, or Adobe Creative Suite.
2. Project Documentation:

Support the preparation of design and construction documentation, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and details.

Organize and maintain project files and architectural records.

Collaborate with the team to produce accurate and complete sets of drawings required for building permits, tenders, or construction.
3. Research and Material Selection:

Conduct research on building codes, regulations, site constraints, and materials.

Assist in selecting sustainable, cost-effective, and aesthetically suitable materials and finishes.

Coordinate with suppliers or vendors to obtain product samples and technical specifications.
4. Site Visits and Coordination:

Accompany senior architects or project leads on site visits to collect measurements, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to design intent.

Assist in documenting site conditions, creating site analysis reports, and preparing post-visit updates for the team.

Support coordination with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Client and Team Collaboration:

Participate in internal design meetings and contribute ideas to brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.

Assist in preparing presentations and visual materials for client meetings.

Help address client feedback by making design revisions or updating documentation accordingly.
6. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure all designs meet local building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards.

Follow office standards for drafting, file naming, documentation, and detailing practices.

Perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy and completeness.
