Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to support our architectural team in creating innovative, sustainable, and functional design solutions. The Junior Architect will assist in conceptual design, drafting, 3D modeling, and project documentation. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in real-world architectural projects under the guidance of senior architects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Support:

Assist in developing architectural concepts, design layouts, and visual presentations for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.

Support the preparation of floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
2. Drafting & Modeling:
-
Create detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD and develop 3D models using tools like SketchUp, Revit, or Rhino.

Prepare realistic renderings using Lumion, V-Ray, or other visualization software.
3. Documentation:

Prepare project reports, material specifications, and submission drawings.

Assist in compiling documentation for client presentations, municipal approvals, and consultant coordination.
4. Site Coordination (Basic Level):

Conduct site visits to measure, photograph, or observe site conditions as needed.

Support site team by understanding design intent and helping address on-site design queries.
5. Research & Material Sourcing:

Conduct research on design trends, materials, sustainable practices, and building codes.

Help in sourcing materials, cataloging samples, and coordinating with vendors.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, or Lumion is a strong advantage

Good sense of design, proportion, and detailing

Basic understanding of construction techniques and materials
