Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Support & Drafting
-
Assist in creating conceptual and schematic designs under the guidance of senior architects.

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.

Develop 3D models and visualizations using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.

Assist in preparing presentations, design boards, and project proposals.
2. Documentation & Compliance
-
Prepare construction documents, working drawings, and specifications for client and contractor use.

Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, etc.) to integrate their inputs into architectural plans.

Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability standards.

Assist in preparing permits and documentation for statutory approvals.
3. Project Coordination
-
Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of design milestones.

Attend site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.

Prepare site reports and document changes or challenges faced during construction.

Support cost estimation and procurement activities by providing detailed drawings and specifications.
4. Research & Development
-
Stay updated with current architectural trends, materials, and technologies.

Research innovative design solutions and sustainable practices to be incorporated into projects.

Assist in maintaining a project library of materials, details, and product specifications.
5. Client & Stakeholder Communication
-
Assist in client meetings by preparing presentations and taking minutes.
-
Respond to client queries regarding design, material selection, and project timelines.
-
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to clarify design details and resolve issues.
