Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Architect located in Coimbatore. The Junior Architect will be responsible for architectural design, project management, software development, and integration tasks on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Architecture and Architectural Design skills
- Project Management experience
- Software Development and Integration skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Development:
-
Assist senior architects in conceptualizing and developing design ideas for residential, commercial, or institutional projects.

Prepare presentations, design layouts, mood boards, and visualizations for client reviews.

Contribute ideas in team brainstorming sessions and client design meetings.
2. Drafting and Documentation:
-
Produce architectural drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, or other software.

Create 3D models and renderings for design visualization using SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, etc.

Assist in preparing construction documents, working drawings, and tender sets.
3. Site Coordination & Visits:

Conduct regular site visits to assist with site measurement, drawing verification, and supervision (if required).

Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and vendors under the direction of the project architect.

Ensure that site execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
4. Regulatory Compliance:

Assist in preparing documentation for municipal or statutory approvals.

Ensure that designs comply with building codes, local regulations, environmental standards, and zoning laws.
5. Team & Client Support:

Support communication with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.

Maintain project files, revisions, and architectural documentation.

Prepare minutes of meetings, drawing logs, and material specifications under supervision.
