Job Description
We are excited to announce opening for Junior Architect/Senior Architect roles at our firm. Naskham Studio is a vibrant space where individuals can learn, grow, and explore their creative potential through innovative architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities:
For Junior Architect:

Design and Drafting:
-
Assist in conceptual and detailed design development for various projects.

Prepare architectural plans, 3D models, and renderings using CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).

Work on project documentation, ensuring accuracy in plans, elevations, sections, and details.

Site Visits and Surveys:

Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide inputs based on site conditions.

Assist in coordinating the collection of information such as topographical surveys, building dimensions, and environmental factors.

Collaboration:
-
Collaborate with the senior architect and project team to refine design concepts.

Coordinate with other departments, including structural engineers, MEP engineers, and contractors, to ensure integrated project development.

Research and Code Compliance:

Stay updated on building codes, regulations, and industry trends.

Assist in ensuring that designs comply with local zoning laws, safety codes, and environmental regulations.

Client Interaction:

Support senior team members in presenting designs to clients and making adjustments based on feedback.

For Senior Architect:

Project Leadership and Management:

Lead architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet the project brief, budget, and timeline.

Manage a team of junior architects and designers, providing mentorship and guidance.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project alignment with client expectations.

Design Conceptualization and Development:

Develop and refine design concepts and strategies in line with the client’s needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.

Ensure that designs are practical, aesthetically pleasing, and innovative.

Produce detailed architectural drawings, sketches, and presentations.

Client Liaison and Communication:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the design and construction phases.

Organize and lead client meetings, providing design updates, and presenting design proposals and options.

Negotiate contracts and manage client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.

Project Coordination:

Oversee project documentation, including the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and change orders.

Collaborate with the project management team to track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring that deadlines and budgets are adhered to.

Provide guidance to junior architects and designers, ensuring the quality and consistency of design work.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Review designs for compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that construction meets design specifications.

Implement quality control measures and ensure project delivery is up to the standard set by the firm.
