Job Description – Junior artwork operator

 Job Summary:

• The Junior Art Work Operator gets the approved brief and creates the artwork as per the brief using appropriate software. 
• He or she ensures that the artwork is accurate and complete before sharing it for review with the proofreading team. 
• The Junior Artwork Operator plays a significant role in the production of the artwork throughout its life cycle, that is, taking creative work from concept, through the production process, to produce high-quality artwork. 
• He or she should follow Quality Assurance guidelines/procedures with an eye on customer satisfaction.
  

• The roles and responsibilities of the Junior Art Work Operator include the following:
  
• Ensures that artwork briefs and technical specifications are appropriate and complete before implementing the artwork creation process
  
• Creates artwork in accordance with approved artwork brief and change orders
  
• Accountable for accuracy and completeness of own work before passing for artwork proof-reading and review.
  
• Maintains data accuracy in the artwork production and storage processes
  
• Carries out all appropriate transactions and recording processes in the system and other computer software as necessary to maintain accurate and complete records of the progression and completion of artwork.
  
• Adheres to customer artwork production standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
  

• Knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and other multimedia software needed for the job/Only Graduates
  
• Technically trained and/or qualified in commercial / production artwork creation tools and techniques
  
• Understands the quality compliance aspects of artwork creation
  
• 0 – 1 years of experience of production artwork / graphic artwork creation
  
• Able to work under demanding time pressures and constraints, and maintain an excellent standard of work.
