Job Description
- A junior assistant is basically support staff.
- They are the first officers that the public connects with to air their grievances or look for help, before being directed to higher officers or supervisors.
- Their liability of the junior assistant is to assist the senior staff in whatever they might need help with.
- They have the responsibilities of dispatching office memos, preparing arrear statements, registering files, typing up work and recording and indexing files as well.
- Candidates should be able to multi-task efficiently in their field of work, and should have the ability to move flawlessly from one activity to the next.
- A number of senior officers will assign the junior assistant work throughout the day.
- It will be a major credit to the candidate if he or she is able to keep up the continuing load of work throughout the day.
