Job Description

Provide inputs for preparation of project plan with timelines, resources and critical milestones
Highlight drawing requirements and raise concerns/clarification on drawing to PM / PC / DC and provide inputs on the feasibility / practicality of construction
Organize the site mobilization in accordance to the site checklist.
To ensure timely highlighting of design inadequacies, non-compliance to material indents and all other issues and to execute the resolution plan suggested by the PM
To ensure timely communication of critical information from the project site, Continuously monitor the resource requirements, cycle time and productivity levels
Work closely and coordinate with the Project team to ensure smooth site operations
Build and maintain strong relations with the contractor; Periodically interact to identify any issues/concerns and minimize non-tender items
To assist in periodic audits, to ensure compliance with ISO and Coordinate with safety and security officer for implementation a safe work environment and also arrange necessary training for the workmen, to comply safety codes.
Control and check the quality of materials and workmanship as per the IS specification or specified by the consultant and escalate any deviations.
Customers Assist the Quantity Survey Department in the checking and certification of the work done measurement sheets from various consultants, vendors, contractors for the project (QS & BILLING)
Study drawings, understand the total scope and identify the WBS for master schedule.
Populate activities, incorporate logic and finalize the master schedule (Draft)
Get the schedule verified by the planning manager who will be responsible to coordinate with DC/PC/PM
On receipt of approval from management save and maintain master schedule as baseline
Collate data (progress) from site and update schedule on weekly basis
Generate If / But Analysis Report, Look Ahead plan, Procurement Plan, Critical Path Analysis, Variance Report, Catch-up Plan etc.
Document control with respect to planning data and reports , Earned value analysis, if necessary.
Allot work to Junior Engineer and Supervisor and ensuring a proper reporting / Feedback are made by them on routine basis .
Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring as required
Conduct performance evaluation of team members
