Job Overview
A Junior Engineer - Manufacturing and Assembly is responsible for studying part drawings, coordinating manufacturing processes, and assembling components in-house. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, the ability to work with suppliers, and hands-on assembly skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacturing Drawing Analysis
Study and interpret manufacturing part drawings and technical specifications.
Ensure designs meet engineering and quality standards before production.
2. Manufacturing & Supplier Coordination
Oversee the manufacturing of parts based on engineering drawings.
Coordinate with suppliers for material procurement and production follow-ups.
Ensure manufactured parts comply with quality and precision standards.
3. In-House Assembly Work
Perform assembly operations as per design and functional requirements.
Ensure proper fitment and alignment of manufactured components.
Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
4. Quality Control & Reporting
Inspect manufactured parts and assembled products for defects or deviations.
Maintain reports on manufacturing progress and assembly work.
Provide feedback to design and production teams for improvements.
