Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Acquisition & Field Sourcing

Identify potential customers in designated areas through field visits, local inquiries, and community interaction.

Promote financial products such as group loans, individual loans, small business loans, gold loans, or other credit facilities.

Conduct door-to-door surveys, community meetings, and awareness programs to generate leads.
2. Client Onboarding
-
Explain loan schemes, interest rates, repayment schedules, and terms and conditions to prospective borrowers.

Collect and verify required KYC documents (ID proof, address proof, income details, etc.).

Assist customers in filling out application forms accurately.
3. Group Formation & Training (for Microfinance)
-
Organize Self-Help Groups (SHGs) or Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) in rural/urban clusters.

Conduct pre-loan training to ensure customers understand loan obligations.
-
Educate group members on financial discipline, repayment structure, and company policies.
4. Loan Disbursement Support
-
Ensure all documentation and verification processes are completed before disbursement.

Coordinate with the branch team for approval and timely disbursement of funds.
-
Disburse loans in field camps or community centers, if required.
5. Loan Repayment Collection
-
Follow up with clients for weekly, biweekly, or monthly loan installments.

Maintain accurate records of payments collected from customers.

Report any delayed or missed payments and take proactive recovery actions.

Encourage digital payments where applicable and guide clients on UPI or bank transfers.
6. Customer Relationship Management
-
Build long-term relationships with clients based on trust and transparency.

Handle customer complaints and resolve field-level issues promptly.

Act as a liaison between the customer and the branch office for queries or escalations.
7. Reporting & Documentation
-
Maintain daily reports on customer visits, collections, disbursements, and follow-ups.

Submit MIS reports and collection sheets to the branch regularly.
-
Update customer records in company’s mobile app or software (if applicable).
8. Market Intelligence
-
Gather field insights on competitor activities, local credit behavior, and customer feedback.
-
Suggest new geographies or product needs to the Branch Manager.
