Requirements:

• Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience building and maintaining Wordpress websites, including experience with custom code (plugins, themes, etc).
• Experience with PHP / CSS3 / HTML5, and AJAX / JQuery / Javascript
• Experience with Cross-browser, platform, and device testingExperience with responsive website design
• Experience and history of success with technical SEO as it relates to Wordpress and websites in general 
• Strong Debugging and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Experience with other CMS systems (joomla, drupal, magento, etc.) is a plus, but not required.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has one or more years of experience coding within a Wordpress environment. 

You must possess strong communication skills, including strong written and verbal skills. We work in a close knit team and communication is critical.

You need to be able to clearly articulate and document processes and procedures in a way that allows other staff to understand and follow your instructions.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced programmer to help manage 40+ wordpress websites. These span from simple sites to ecommerce installations. The programmer will be in charge of:

• Keeping websites up to date (core, plugins) and preventing/addressing issues that arise from these updates.
• Fulfilling client requests for updates to the websites.
• troubleshooting and implementing fixes to errors on wordpress sites.
• Implementing technical SEO related updates to sites (loading speed, image optimization, code optimization, etc.)
• Use HTML, CSS and JavaScript/JQuery to create front-end code from wireframes, design files and technical specifications
• Manage quality assurance on projects
