Hi,
We are looking for Junior GIS Engineer for our company. Who has passed out in 2023 or later with a Diploma or B-Tech in any discipline and have knowledge of AutoCAD are eligible for this post. Interested candidates can attend a walk-in interview on 25th and 26th Apr 25 at 10.00 AM at our Miyapur office.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹15,500.00 per month
Key Responsibilities

Spatial Data Collection and Management
Collect, clean, and organize spatial and non-spatial data from various sources such as satellite imagery, field surveys, GPS data, and databases. Import, digitize, and update GIS data layers. -
Map Creation and Cartography
Design and produce high-quality digital and printed maps using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS). Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in map outputs for use in reports, presentations, and online platforms. -
Data Analysis and Interpretation
Conduct basic spatial analysis such as proximity, overlay, buffer, and network analysis. Interpret results to support decision-making in areas such as land use, infrastructure development, and environmental monitoring. -
Database Maintenance
Support the maintenance and updating of GIS databases. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and standardization of attribute data. Perform regular quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies. -
Documentation and Reporting
Assist in preparing documentation, reports, and metadata for GIS projects. Maintain proper records of data sources, methodologies, and project processes to ensure transparency and reproducibility. -
Support Project Teams
Work collaboratively with other engineers, planners, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver GIS-based solutions. Provide GIS-related support in ongoing projects across various domains. -
GIS Tool Development and Customization
Use scripting languages such as Python or ModelBuilder to automate GIS tasks and workflows (basic level). Assist in customizing tools and templates to improve efficiency and usability. -
Field Data Integration
Assist in integrating field-collected data into GIS databases. Support GPS and mobile data collection processes using apps like Collector for ArcGIS, Survey123, or QField. -
Client and User Support
Provide technical support to internal teams or clients on GIS software and tools. Help troubleshoot issues related to map accuracy, data compatibility, or application use.
