Job Description
Junior Health Coach – Amura Health (Chennai, Perungudi)
Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and socially intelligent Junior Health Coach to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Health Coach at Amura Health, you will guide clients through their health journeys, supporting them with empathy, motivation, and expertise to achieve long-term wellness goals.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Build and maintain personalized interactions with clients, understanding their unique health needs.
Health Guidance: Provide holistic advice tailored to client conditions and goals.
Motivation & Support: Encourage clients to adhere to their health plans, overcome obstacles, and celebrate progress.
Education: Share strategies on lifestyle, nutrition, and wellness practices for long-term improvement.
Progress Tracking: Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as needed.
Crisis Management: Offer timely support during health crises to reduce stress and aid recovery.
Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and team members for comprehensive client care.
Requirements
Education: PharmD, BDS, B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotech, Microbiology, Bio-Chemistry, Applied Microbiology, Bio-Informatics, Applied/Clinical Psychology, Medical Microbiology, Human Genetics, Clinical Immunology, Molecular & Cellular Biology, B.Pharm / M.Pharm, B.Tech/M.Tech Biotechnology, Bio-medical Engineering.
Experience: Freshers welcome (prior experience is a plus).
Languages: Fluency in English (mandatory).
Skills & Traits: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy, patience, multitasking ability, adaptability, and basic knowledge of health management concepts.
Additional Information
Shift Timing: Rotational shifts (flexibility required).
Compensation: ₹3.00 – ₹3.65 LPA (depends on qualification).
Location: Chennai (Perungudi) – No Work From Home option.
