Job Description
Junior Industrial Engineer
Qualification: BE (industrial engineer)
Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes. Implements control to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.
Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders to address production needs.
Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.
Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel. Hires, trains, and oversees production personnel.
Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns. Generates process documentation and reports.
Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.
Works with technical writers to prepare client and customer proposals.
