Job Description

1. Name Of the post: Junior Medical Officer

2. No. of Post: 02 (1- METRIF trial, Vaccine trial)

3. Essential Qualification: MBBS Degree from recognized University

4. Desirable Qualification: MD in Medicine, Medicine General Chest Microbiology/Path ology/ PSM from a recognized University with Four years Research/ Teaching experience.

5. Job Responsibilities:

a. Clinical examination pertaining to screening of NSP cases to ensure enrolment

b. Double check participants' identifier details

c. Clinical record form (CRF) filling

d. Allocating study participant to Metformin +DOTS / only DOTS as per randomization instructions provided

e. Clinical management of participants and referral as necessary and appropriate

f. Observation, Identification and reporting of SAE and AE as per protocol

g. Clinical follow up during repeat visit as per the protocol

h. Ensures adherence to GCP and biomedical waste management

i. Ensures clinic activities , maintenance, waste disposal, data recording, archiving and safety as per standard operating procedure (SOP)

6. Consolidated Salary: Rs 60,000/-
