Junior Project Biologist job vacancies in Wildlife Institute of India (WII)
The project component aims to: “Identify, delineate and map areas with High Conservation Values (HCVs) and developing management recommendations / plans for them in SECURE Himalaya landscapes in selected districts of Himachal Pradesh”
Junior Project Biologist/ 01 (GIS)
Essential Qualification (EQ): Master’s degree in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Forestry /Ecology/ Computer Science / Environmental Sciences / GIS-Remote Sensing or related subjects or Post Graduate Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification (DQ): Preference will be given to candidates having good communication, writing, analytical skills as well as GIS-RS knowledge. One year experience in the Himalayan region, working with stakeholders, will be an advantage.

Location of Project sites :Himachal Pradesh
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
Emoluments : Rs 30,000/-(Consolidated) / month
Junior Project Biologist/ 01 (Ecology)
Essential Qualification (EQ) : M.Sc in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Botany / Forestry Environmental Science or Management or related subjects.
Desirable Qualification (DQ) : Experience in the Himalayan region, working with stakeholders, and proven abilities of writing skills 4 Work description Assist faculty and experts in various activities of the project at field sites / HQ, data collection/ compilation, assistance during workshops, stakeholder consultations, writing reports, plans, preparation of maps, presentations and other related activities.
