Junior Project Fellow/Field Assistant job recruitment in Kumaun University on Purely Temporary Basis
Project: 'To Establish a DNA- Barcoding and Chemotaxonomy Empowered Herbarium of Lichen-Species of Uttarakhand- Himalaya and Development of a Resource Group for Conservation and Characterization of Lichen-Biodiversity'
1. Junior Project Fellow /01 No
Qualification: First class Masters degree in any branch of Life Sciences Preference will be given to the candidates having at least 1 year research experience in DNA barcoding and other techniques of Genetic-engineering.
Pay Scale : Rs. 16000
Age Limit: 28 years*
2. Junior Project Fellow /01 No.
Qualification: First class Masters degree in Chemistry with specialisation in Organic chemistry. Preference will be given to the candidates having at least 1 year research experience in analytical chemistry. Knowledge in HPLC, TLC, GC, GC-MS and other instruments.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16000
Age Limit: 28 years*
3. Field Assistant /02 No
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Sciences (with Botany as one of the subjects in graduation) Working experience on the Himalayan Flora. Would assist in field Sample/data collection and data-entry; good working knowledge of computer.
Pay Scale : Rs.8,000
Age Limit : 35 years*
