Title : Strong Motion Seismometry in Darjeeling-Sikkim Himalaya - Comprehensive Maintenance for Round-the-Clock Seismic Monitoring by the 10 Station DSSM and Enriching Ground Motion Database for Relooking into Seismic Source, Site and Path Characteristics from Hazard Perspectives for a Conservative Damage and Loss Estimate in SELENA and HAZUS Environment(SM10)

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any stream of Science with working experience in the allied field of specialization. Or Fresh M.Sc. in Physics/ Mathematics/Geology/ Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics / Seismology/ Computational Seismology/ Remote Sensing /Geoinformatics. Or First class B.Tech./ B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering / Civil Engineering/ Mining Engineering or allied field of specialization.
Relevant Experience : Since the candidate on selection will be posted mostly in Sikkim under Sikkim State Council of Science & Technology, Govt. of Sikkim, Gangtok under the direct supervision of Mr. D. G. Shrestha, the Additional Director S & T, Sikkim who is Co- Principal Investigator of this Project, working experience in a hilly terrain will be preferred
