Title of the Research Project :  Modeling and Design of Silicon Based Optical Modulator for high speed Optical Communication System

Essential and desirable Qualifications:

(i)MSc / MSc(Tech) (60% for General and 55 % for SC/ST category) in Electronics/opto-electronics/optical communication/physics with valid NET/GATE qualification

                                                                     Or

(ii)B.Tech (Minimum 60 % for General and minimum 55% for SC/ST category) in ECE/Electronics & Instrumentation with valid GATE/NET qualification

                                                                     Or

(iii)ME/M.Tech (Minimum 60 % for General and minimum 55% for SC/ST category) in ECE/Opto-Electronics/Optical Communication

Desirable : Knowledge of COMSOL Multiphasic and able to write Matlab code of numerical methods and simulation, for opto-electronic devices and optical communication.

Age :  Not more than 28 years as on 5 th May, 2017. Relaxation of 5 years is applicable to SC/ST/OBC, women and physically challenged candidates (Attached relevant certificate to avail age relaxation, if any)

Emolument : Rs. 25000/- per month for first two years + HRA (as per DSTSERB notification
