University of Delhi (DU) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow

Project: “Sustainable metal-catalyzed oxidative tandem reactions: exploring novel approaches for synthesis of biologically relevant nitrogen-containing heterocycles”

Total Vacancy: 1 Post

Eligibility:a) Candidate must possessing M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or equivalent degree with 55% marks and passing of NET/GATE. b) The candidate with background and inclination towards Organic Chemistry in M.Sc. will be preferred. Employed candidates, whether temporary or permanent, and those who have already availed higher fellowships like SRF, RA, etc., will not be considered for JRF position.

Nature of Work:Synthesis, purification and characterization of organic compounds having biologicalproperties.

Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying to the post of JRF shall be 28 years as on the last date of application. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.

Stipend JRF: Rs.31,000/- pm plus House rent allowance (HRA) and Medical allowance (MA) as per CSIR norms.

Duration of Fellowship:Tenure of the fellowship is till 31st May 2021.
