Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) invites application for the position Junior Research Fellow
Title of the Project: Implementation of Adaptive Reactive Power Compensation Mechanism for Enhance Power Quality in Weak Grid Connected Solar Inverter under Varying Solar Irradiance (CRG/2020/002958)

Essential Qualifications:
i. Candidates must be holders of M.Tech/ M.S./M.E. or equivalent in Electrical engineering. They must also be holders of B. Tech/ B.E. in any engineering discipline.
ii. Candidates must have BE/B.Tech & ME/ M.Tech in relevant branch with 1st class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech.
iii. Candidates are preferred with GATE.
Desirable:
i. The industrial exposure with hands-on experience with programming DSP control boards/peripheral sensor interfacing /C with data structures/Python/ Artificial Intelligence
ii. Scientific writing skill.
Candidates meeting minimum eligibility criteria are not necessary to call for interview. Criteria can be set to higher than minimum based on the number of applications.
Salary/Emoluments: As per the SERB, DST norms (approx. 31000 per month).
Age Limit: Not more than 30 years. SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates will get relaxation as per Govt. of India Rules.
