Job Description
Applications are invited for ONE post of Junior Research Fellow, as per fellowship and qualifications mentioned below, in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored project entitled 'Magnetoelectric Spin orbit (MESO) logic for the energy-efficient, beyond CMOS computing applications' (Project Code: EEQ/2022/000984) sanctioned for the period of 03 years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + HRA@16% per month for first two years & Rs. 35,000 + HRA@16% per month for third year
Essential Qualifications: Master's Degree in Physics/Material Science/Electronics (or) MTech in Material Science (or) equivalent with minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates having strong basics, experimental skills, prior research experience, and NET/GATE qualification.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years (5 years' relaxation for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped Candidates)
All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
Note: There is a provision for the selected candidate to enroll in Ph.D. program at the department, as per the University rules. The candidate will get exposure and opportunity to work in the laboratories at IISc, UoH and DRDO along with the parent institution.
