JNU invites application for the position Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) in the field of Data Science/ Bioinformatics

Project Title: Data Reduction technologies for genomics and transcriptomics data sets

Number of vacancies: Two

Qualification: The incumbents must have cleared CSIR/UGC JRF examination or have passed an M. Tech. degree in Data Science/ Bioinformatics or a related area. They are expected to have strong programming skills. Previous experience of working on Biological/ Medical data sets, particularly genomics, medical diagnostics or NGS data analysis is desirable.

Salaries: Standard JRF salaries as per the rules of DST, Government of India applicable from time to time. At this time this salary is roughly expected to be Rs 25,000 plus 30% HRA per month, but the exact details will be notified in the offer letter to the selected candidates.
