Junior Research Fellowship - Research

Project Title: Propeller Shaft Instabilities and Mode Localization in Propeller Blades(ILP)

Consolidated Compensation: Upto Rs.31000(DEPENDING ON QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE)(depending upon qualification & experience)

Department/School/Centre: Ocean Engg and Naval Architecture

Qualifications: B.E./B. Tech. in Mechanical / Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering with minimum 7.0 CGPA or 70% marks And/or • ME / M. Tech./M.S in Ocean Engineering /Mechanical/ Marine Engineering, Aerospace, Applied mechanics, Applied Mathematics with minimum 8 CGPA or 75% marks; Should have qualified GATE earlier or have a valid score now. Candidate must be willing to enroll for PhD/MS depending on previous qualification. In exceptional cases some conditions could be relaxed for candidates with relevant work experience.

Age Limit (Year): 28

Relevant Experience: The work could involve areas related to (a) Computational and theoretical structural dynamics. (b) Rotordynamics (c) Experimental Modal analysis. Candidates with previous experience in these area or working knowledge of Matlab , FEM software packages and/or experimentation will be given preference.
