Junior Scientific Officer (Junior Scientific Officer/Technical officer) job recruitment in Lakshadweep Administration on temporary basis
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Science/ Post Graduate Diploma in Fisheries Science with at least a second class.
Salary : Rs. 9300-34800/-
Age Limit : Between 18-30 yrs
Scheme of examinations :
(a). Scheme of examination consists of written test of 100 marks (90% weightage) followed by a personal interview of 10 marks (for those who qualify in written test). Total marks obtained in written test and interview combined shall determine the merit list.
(b). Out of the 100 marks for Written Competitive Examination, 30 marks shall be for Objective Type Questions and 70 marks for Subjective Type Questions. Objective Type Questions shall test the General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Aptitude of the Candidates and Subjective Type Questions shall test knowledge of the candidates in the field of General Science as well as questions pertaining to various issues including Conservation, Preservation, Ecology, etc.
(c). The standard of question papers will be of Graduation Level.
(d) Candidates shall have to secure a minimum of 45 marks in the Written Examination to qualify for the interview. Out of the 45 marks, minimum of 30 marks shall be obtained from the 70 marks allotted for 'Subjective Type Questions'.
Procedure for Selection : Selection will be made on the basis of combined marks obtained in the written examination and interview.
