Position: Junior SEO Executive
Location: Mohali
Mode: Work from Office
Experience: Must have completed SEO training
Vacancy: 1
Interview Timings: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Interview Type: Face-to-face (mandatory if shortlisted)
Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Keyword Research and Planning:
-
Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or Moz.
-
Identify the high-potential, long-tail, and relevant keywords based on competition and search intent.

Assist in mapping keywords to appropriate pages for content optimization or content creation.
2. On-Page SEO Implementation:
-
Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers (H1-H3), image alt tags, and internal links.
-
Assist in updating content for keyword alignment, readability, and SEO-friendliness.
-
Ensure proper use of schema markup, canonical tags, robots.txt, and XML sitemaps under guidance.
-
Work with web developers or CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) to implement technical changes when needed.
3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building:
-
Perform basic backlink outreach via guest posting, article submissions, social bookmarking, business listings, and web 2.0 sites.

Submit content to forums, Q&A sites (like Quora or Reddit), and niche directories.

Monitor and maintain records of acquired backlinks and referring domains.

Support link clean-up efforts by identifying toxic or spammy links.
4. SEO Auditing and Technical Analysis:

Assist in running SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.

Identify and report common SEO issues such as duplicate content, broken links, crawl errors, slow page speed, and mobile usability issues.

Collaborate with senior team members to prepare audit summaries and action plans.
5. Content Coordination:
-
Coordinate with the content team to ensure that SEO guidelines are followed during content creation.

Help with writing or reviewing SEO titles, meta tags, and SEO-optimized blogs or landing pages.

Ensure consistency in keyword usage and internal linking structure across the site.
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Monitor keyword rankings and website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party tools.

Track and report organic traffic, bounce rate, conversions, CTR, and other SEO KPIs.

Prepare basic weekly or monthly SEO performance reports for team meetings or clients.
