Job Description
4.1 To Assists Bronchoscopy.
4.2 To assist EBAS to concern Doctors
4.3 To assist Thoracoscopy
4.4 To maintain all relevant equipment related to above procedures.
4.5 To take regular infection control of equipment patient safety measures.
4.6 Liasoning with Bio-Medical for regular upkeep if the equipment.
4.7 Strict Log Maintenance.
4.8 Departmental specific quality patient safety indicators.
4.9 Participate in departmental specific quality improvement.
4.10 Follow correct procedure for patient identification and communication of patient information following SBAR.
4.11 To have appropriate knowledge in correct use and maintenance of Biomedical equipment in the work area Including:-
BOYLES Machines Monitors Biopsy Forceps
4.12 To provide all infection control practices including device related care, isolation precautions and proper wards segregation.
4.13 Not authorized to prescribe or administer any medicine.
4.14 Medication if any should be handled by nursing staff.
4.15 The Staff has to comply to all six IPSGs:-
4.17 The staff has to provide appropriate information of incident or Event through Incident Report reporting system.
4.18 The staff has to participate in organization wide safety culture measure.
4.19 The staff has to facilitate and participates in quality improvements through integrated solutions following thorough root cause analysis of all events or untoward trends of a quality indicator.
4.20 The staff will be appropriate trained and will have to respond to emergency situations like Fire safety, Hazmat, Disaster management etc

- Reduce the risk of patient harm resulting falls.
4.17 The staff has to provide appropriate information of incident or Event through Incident Report reporting system.
4.18 The staff has to participate in organization wide safety culture measure.
4.19 The staff has to facilitate and participates in quality improvements through integrated solutions following thorough root cause analysis of all events or untoward trends of a quality indicator.
4.20 The staff will be appropriate trained and will have to respond to emergency situations like Fire safety, Hazmat, Disaster management etc
