Qualification : SSC with full time ITI / Diploma in Engineering in the following Trades/ Disciplines (60% marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen/OBC candidates, 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates):
Mandatory Qualification : Matric / SSC + Full time ITI/Diploma in Engineering
Eligible ITI Trades (2 years and above duration) with NCVT Certificate : Fitter Machinist, Mill Wright, Turner
Eligible Diploma in Engineering Courses : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Eligible ITI Trades : Electrician

Training & Stipend:
Junior Trainee :
Candidates selected for the post will be required to undergo training for a period of twenty four (24) months. During training period, candidates with ITI qualification have to undergo one year Skill Development Course with certification from National Skill Development Corporation, which may be extended for cases where progress during training is found not satisfactory.
During Training, Junior Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs.10,700/- (consolidated) during the first year and a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,200/- (consolidated) during the remaining period of training.
Field Assistant Trainee:
Candidates selected for the post will be required to undergo training for a period of twenty four (24) months. During training period, candidates shall be imparted with one year Skill up gradation to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) certification level from National Skill Development Corporation, which may be extended for cases where progress during training is found not satisfactory.
During Training, Field Assistant Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 8,600/- (consolidated) during the first year and a monthly stipend of Rs.10,000/- (consolidated) during the remaining period of training.

Height : For Male - 150 cms, For Female – 143 cms
Weight : For Male - 45 kgs, For Female – 35 kgs
Chest Unexpanded : 75 cms; Expanded - 80 cms
Visual Parameters (same for Male & Female):
Distant Vision : 6/9 Both eyes with or without glasses. After the age of 35 years one step reduction (both eyes one step reduction (both eyes with or without glasses)).
Near Vision : J1 or N6 for both eyes. Myopia and Hyper-metropia, if any, not to exceed ±2.00D in each eye.
Colour Vision : Normal, no Colour Blindness - partial or full (in Ishihara or Lantern Test).
Binocular Vision : Binocularity of vision is essential. No Squint, but surgically operated and corrected Squint will be accepted.
Selection Procedure:
Junior Trainee: Written Test will be conducted on General Aptitude (including knowledge in English and Telugu) and Domain (Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy). Test papers will be set in bilingual in English and Telugu. Candidates shortlisted based on performance in written test will be called for Certificate Verification. Merit list will be prepared separately for each branch and candidates will be selected as per the vacancies in each branch.

2) Candidates will have to appear for the written test at their own cost. Written test will be conducted at test centre(s) in Andhra Pradesh.
