Qualification : i) MBBS from any Institution /University recognized by the MCI. ii) MD/MS degree or equivalent from University or Board recognized by MCI/DCI. In case the candidate having above said qualifications are not available, the person having Diploma in the subject concerned will be considered. Further in case candidates with P.G. qualification are not available. The candidate having three years experience as Resident in the concerned specialty can also be considered. iii) Must be registered under the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
Remuneration : For MD/MS candidate Rs. 18600+6000+ NPA+DA & For Diploma candidate Rs. 17400+5400+ NPA+DA

The State Government decided to establish a Medical College at Karnal in the memory of famous Astronaut LATE KALPANA CHAWLA who belonged to Karnal. Shri Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Honorable Chief Minister Haryana made the announcement of establishing this Medical College at Karnal on 26.01.2010.
