Job Description
1. Identify potential prospects in your defined territory (domestic & exports) & reach out to right people and deliver a sales pitch
2. Identify the customer need & offer them the customized solution suiting their need in order to convert them as an L1 supply customer
3. Follow up with new & existing customers on a regular basis and maintain relationships with customers to solicit orders from them
4. Ensure that customer is served with the quality product in the required time
5. Follow up with customers for the payment after the orders are fulfilled & ensure collection as per the collection due date
6. Gather market intelligence on price, leads, competition, and other feedback, and share with the team & management
7. Work collaboratively with the other team members to ensure company objective is met
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 29th Jan'21 and 5th Mar'21
3. are available for duration of 2 months
4. are from Chennai and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
1. Candidates from civil or mechanical engineering background are preferred
2. Candidates should own a 2 wheeler since the internship may need frequent local travel
Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 3 to 4 Lac/annum
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (1% of additional sales).
This internship gives a potential exposure in managing customer key accounts in India & acquiring export customers & to become a key accounts manager within a year, hence requires a candidate who is a go-getter and does not shy away from meeting new people & trying out challenging things.
