Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Kitchen Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should be skilled in preparing Chinese cuisine, Indian-style gravies, and snacks and appetizers with authentic flavors. A high level of cleanliness, kitchen hygiene, and attention to detail is essential. This is a hands-on role that requires both speed and quality in food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including Chinese food, Indian gravy items, snacks, and appetizers with consistent quality and taste.

Ensure food presentation and plating meet the restaurant’s standards.

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area including cutting boards, utensils, counters, and storage.

Follow all safety and hygiene protocols during food handling and preparation.

Monitor ingredient stock and inform the kitchen manager for replenishments as needed.

Handle cooking equipment safely and responsibly.

Maintain consistency in portion size, flavor, and presentation for each dish.

Assist in menu planning or creation of special items when required.

Warmly handle busy kitchen environments and coordinate with other kitchen staff during rush hours.

Prepare food for both dine-in and takeaway orders, ensuring timely delivery of each order.

Take care of leftover food storage and daily kitchen clean-up before closing.
