Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead and manage our kitchen operations. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for food and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality and hygiene.
- Follow and enforce kitchen SOPs and FSSAI standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, schedule shifts, and provide training.
- Monitor inventory, coordinate with procurement, and control food costs.
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of all menu items.
- Work with the culinary team to introduce and test new dishes.
- Coordinate with delivery/front-end teams and resolve kitchen-related issues.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in kitchen or food production management.
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (FSSAI).
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of cost control and kitchen budgeting.
- Fluency in Tamil and English is a major plus
