Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Duties:

Food Preparation:
-
Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and portioning food.

Help chefs with assembling meals or plating dishes according to instructions.

Prepare simple items such as salads, sandwiches, or side dishes, depending on the menu and skill level.

Ensure that food is handled safely and hygienically according to food safety standards.

Kitchen Cleaning & Organization:
-
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment manually or using dishwashing machines.
-
Keep the kitchen clean and sanitized by sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and taking out trash.

Maintain cleanliness in food storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers.
-
Restock kitchen supplies such as plates, utensils, ingredients, and cleaning materials.

Inventory Support:
-
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
-
Check supplies for damage or expiration and report any issues.
-
Help monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors when items are running low.

Health & Safety Compliance:
-
Follow all food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
-
Wear appropriate kitchen attire including gloves, aprons, and non-slip shoes.

Immediately report any spills, accidents, or hazards to supervisors.
