About Company
ITAM (Information Technology Asset Management) is uniquely qualified to help you navigate the complex licensing environment through proven pricing and optimization models. ITAM is started with the belief that customers needed better advocacy, clarity, and a fully uninfluenced, unbiased partner to help them optimize and align their technology and business goals to the proper licensing product and programs without introducing compliance risk.
ITAM specialists bring with them many years of licensing and software expertise, from their experience within end-user organisations, the software industry, or from running SAM teams themselves. Our associates and affiliates spent a cumulative 50 years at leading software vendors like Microsoft, IBM as direct employees in the roles of Account Manager, SAM Engagement Manager, Software Licensing Management Services and in various business leadership roles. Having worked there we decided that the customer needed an independent and impartial voice of reason to rationalize and optimize their buying process.
With Software licensing becoming increasingly complex, we offer clarity to help you make smarter choices. There are now over 100,000 SKUs, and an ever-increasing number ways to purchase from multiple sources, with exponentially increasing rules for enterprises to remain compliant that regularly shift and change. Adding to the confusion, software vendors own licensing teams offer conflicting interpretations at times. We’ll teach you the licensing models, purchase programs, use rights, and negotiation strategies that will save you money between 15% and 30% of your software investment cost.
