Qualifications

- Experience with Laboratory Equipment and Quality Control
- Experience in calibration procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a laboratory setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- Previous experience in a chemistry laboratory setting
Key Responsibilities
1. Analytical Testing
-
Perform routine and non-routine chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.

Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using standard procedures.
-
Utilize techniques such as titration, spectrophotometry (UV-Vis), chromatography (HPLC, GC), pH measurement, and gravimetric analysis.
2. Equipment Operation
-
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments including but not limited to:
-
UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
-
Gas Chromatography (GC)
-
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
-
FTIR Spectrometer
-
pH Meter
-
Analytical Balances
-
Karl Fischer Titrator
-
Melting Point Apparatus
-
3. Quality Control & Assurance
-
Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
-
Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory specifications and company standards.
-
Identify deviations and report out-of-specification (OOS) results promptly.
-
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
4. Calibration & Maintenance
-
Conduct routine calibrations and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
-
Maintain calibration records and ensure all instruments are within their calibration validity.
-
Coordinate with third-party calibration agencies when required.
5. Documentation & Reporting
-
Accurately document test results in laboratory notebooks, worksheets, or LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
-
Prepare and review test reports, certificates of analysis (COA), and other relevant documents.
-
Maintain records in accordance with ISO, FDA, NABL, or other applicable standards.
6. Laboratory Safety & Compliance
-
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols for chemical handling, waste disposal, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
-
Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required.
7. Research Support (if applicable)
-
Assist in formulation, method development, or R&D projects under the supervision of senior chemists or scientists.

Perform pilot-scale experiments and stability studies as per project requirements.
