Laboratory Technician (Electrical)  
Job Opportunity At Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA)

Qualification : Diploma in Electrical or SSLC (or equivalent) and two years NCVT certificate Course (ITI) in Electrical OR any equivalent trade, from a Govt. recognized Polytechnics/Industrial Training Institute with minimum 60% marks is essential.

Experience: For Diploma Holders: 2 Years of work experience with minimum of one year in a reputed research institute/industry involved in clean room operations.

For ITI Holders: 5 years of work experience with minimum of 2 years in a reputed research institute / industry involved in clean room operations. 

The candidates should be well-versed in maintenance of electrical/electronic equipments such as UPS, vacuum pumps, baking chamber, variable frequency drives, Building management system, CCTV, Access control, Fire Alarm etc,. Candidates should be well versed in clean room protocols & operations.

Desirable: Conversant with electrical installations of VFD's, De-Humidifiers, AHU's & Chillers are desirable. Job Requirements : Candidate may be required to attend the emergency maintenance and testing work during nights and should be willing to work on shift basis.
