Laboratory Technician/ SRF  job opportunities in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) 

Project Title  :  “Pathogenic bacteria in preterm maternal breast milk and their role in neonatal gut colonization and sepsis”

Department :  Pediatrics

Senior Research Fellow  

Qualification  :  Postgraduate degree in basic sciences with NET qualification, OR Graduate degree in a professional course with NET qualification OR Postgraduate degree in a professional course  AND 2 years of research experience after the above degree. Owing to the nature of the research project, only female candidates will be allowed to apply. Applications from male candidates will not be accepted.

Desirable :  Experience in PCR and standard microbiological techniques

Pay Scale : Pay as per ICMR rules (Rs 28,000 pm + 20% HRA)

Laboratory Technician

Qualification  :  12th standard pass in science subjects AND Two-year diploma in medical laboratory technology OR one year diploma in medical laboratory technology +1 year experience in a recognised government institution OR 2 years laboratory experience in a recognized government institution OR BSc in medical laboratory technology  Owing to the nature of the research project, only female candidates will be allowed to apply. Pay Scale : Pay as per ICMR rules (Rs. 18,000 pm only)
